How do you choose joy when you are tired, afraid, frustrated, angry, etc.? Joy is in such conflict with each of these feelings. And yet, isn’t joy supposed to be a huge part of the Christian life? These are questions I have faced a lot in the last several months as God has begun the process of teaching me just what choosing joy means. I just want to take a few moments and share with you some of the things I have personally been learning about joy.
Sometimes life feels like a roller coaster– going from 0 to 70 mph in under 60 seconds, driving up and down and everywhere else in between.
And sometimes… sometimes life feels like a rickety old rope bridge.
