Shatter Me

Savior, I am weary–
I know You understand.
I’m tired of my sinfulness!
I need to cleanse my hands.

But, Lord, I am so stiff-necked!
I hold myself too high.
I need that special brokenness–
God, hear my New Man’s cry!

Only You can do it.
That power is not mine.
I plead that you would shatter me–
The shards, dear Lord, refine!
